Amsterdam-based artist, songwriter, and producer Joël Gaerthé, has quickly gained attention for his genre-twisting sound and unmistakable vocal talent through his project GANGS OF KIN. ‘Confusion’ is the latest hit of his future-funk inspired alt pop, keeping us on our toes from its groove-laden opening moments. The song's lyrics reflect on the abundance of information and misinformation available to us today, making it difficult to form a well-informed opinion on any given topic. “It’s hard to form an actual opinion on a topical subject. People say SO much.. say enough and you’ll find something to agree with on all sides. My conclusion is: Stop waiting. Change doesn’t come. Change is achieved,” he explains.
